Deadlines for submissions: Jan. 31, April 30, July 31, and October 31 Events, Congratulatory News, and Industry News and Notes: Anyone sold anything? Gone to a great conference? Teaching somewhere? All positive news is welcome! Any information you have about area conferences, literary festivals, etc. is needed for the calendar section. Also, any industry updates. Any favorite web sites? Send to Highlighter Editor at midatlanticscbwi@tidalwave.net Illustrations: Send spot art that will reproduce well in b&w. Do not send originals. Scanned artwork can be e-mailed. Artwork will be reduced to fit page design. Write “ARTWORK: DO NOT BEND” on envelope. Articles: We welcome articles of interest to writers and illustrators. 600 word limit.
